A Watchman for the House of Israel
One of the cornerstones for our humanitarian aid work at Curt Landry Ministries is our belief that God has called us to be a watchman for the house of Israel.
This is based on Ezekiel 3:17, which reads as follows:
Son of man, I have made you a watchman to the house of Israel; therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
Now, in this passage, God isn’t saying that we are called to be literal watchmen, standing upon the city walls and guarding Israel. Instead, we are called to be spiritual watchmen, guarding their spirits and faith. The “hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me” portion of the passage could easily be interpreted as God calling us to listen to His voice, and to spread His Word to all people, especially those in His chosen land.
Men are expected to warn other men of their own evil ways, and the types of danger that sinfulness exposes them to. They are also expected to be spiritual partners, supporting people in their difficult times and helping to bring them back to the light and to God whenever necessary.
This is one of the reasons why we offer the chance for people to become covenant partners with Curt Landry Ministries. As a covenant partner, you are able to restore hope to people throughout Israel who are hurting, thanks to your love and generosity. You are able to support initiatives that call people to God and encourage them to turn to their faith in their darkest times, rather than sinful impulses.
We have several partnership levels at which you can participate. But no matter what level you choose, you can rest assured that you are making a difference. Covenant partners help us in our goal to bring revival to Israel, the Church, and the nations through a deeper understanding and revelation of the power of covenant. They facilitate restoration of the covenant through the reconciliation of Jews and Gentiles coming together as the One New Man.
