You Are Called for Such a Time as This!

You are called for a purpose. You are called for such a time as this.
Entering the year 2022 (and moving deeper into the Hebrew year 5782) speaks of coming into agreement with your call. However, you must understand that your call will become your battleground this year… but there is hope!
God’s Word provides answers and principles that take you from victim to victor, from quitter to conqueror. He is not done with you. He will finish what He started. Stay the course, and He will surely reward you!
“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.”—Colossians 3:23-24
2022/5782: What is the Significance of the 2s?
The 2s tell us that we are to be coupled and united with the One True God for His Kingdom purposes.
“At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.”
—John 14:20
When we are coupled with Him, when we are made one, we come together as the Body—both Jew and Gentile—in Yeshua. And we are made strong.
“For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation… so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace…”
—Ephesians 2:14-15
“Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”
—Ecclesiastes 4:12
The double 2s speak of a double portion blessing. Those who persist in their call and resist the enemy will receive a double portion blessing this year.
“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
—Luke 6:38
Your Call is Your Battleground
It’s worth stating again: Your call will become your battleground this year. The enemy knows that those who persist and resist him will receive a double portion. He is doing all he can to stand in the way of your call. He knows you are called for such a time as this.
KNOW:
We want you to know that ancient biblical truth and principles are the answers to modern-day challenges. This is the key to walking in victory.
SEE:
We want you to see the importance of having personal and professional goals and establishing a plan. The plan is protective. It helps you stay the course.
FEEL:
We want you to be free from confusion. When you have goals to grow in the Lord and to answer your call, it tears down the walls of conflicting information.
How to Position Yourself for Such a Time as This
The biblical principle of stewarding your time, tasks, and resources is the key to walking in your purpose. In 2022, you will be faced with many decisions that, when made, will either lead you to or lead you away from your call.
Matthew 25:14-30—the parable of the talents—gives you the wisdom you need to steward well. As the parable goes, two servants invested well and received a double portion. The third servant was fearful and had a negative belief system about the master.
“‘…Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’”
—Matthew 25:24-25
Rather than poorly stewarding like the “wicked and lazy servant” (Matt. 25:26), remember to A.C.T….
A — Apply
Apply Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
Make a decision to remove fear and adopt a faith mindset.
C — Change
Change your mind from negative to positive. See the Lord as gracious and giving. In Matthew 25:26, the master answers the wicked servant,
“…you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed.”
T — Transform
Transformation and victory come when you release resentment to the Holy Spirit and trust in His ways.
“And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition… and escape the snare of the devil…”—2 Timothy 2:24-26
