Characteristics of a Covenant Partner: Knowing your Family and Your Father (3)

Knowing-your-Family-and-Your-Father

How would you describe your family? How you grew up, and how your parents were raised can greatly impact how you perceive the world and your spiritual family. Do these family messages speak louder than your Heavenly Father’s message of who you are?

Having our Heavenly Father at the forefront of our mind, allows His Spirit to wash over us, and as a result, we can meet our earthly family as Yeshua has met us. You have been saved and are being transformed into His image. He wants you to look like your Father!

The Lord has laid on my heart to encourage our Covenant Partners, and those looking to sow seed and restoration to the nation of Israel. Reminding them of the covenant power and mystery. I invite you to dig into more about the Revelation of the Covenant and it’s Powerful Words as we go through the journey of uncovering our covenant relationship with God.

Before the Lord’s transforming power took up residence in you… where were you?

“… that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.”—Ephesians 2:12-13

Here, Paul reminds the Gentiles who they were BEFORE Christ, and who they are now IN Christ. The significance to this is that through our earthly family, we have no hope, but because of the blood of Yeshua, we have been legally adopted; now having promise of eternal life!

Do you have hope?

My heart breaks when I see my brothers and sisters in Christ walking without hope. This happens because of a misunderstanding of the covenant relationship. When you have a revelation of the Covenant Partnership, both with God and with each other as spiritual brothers and sisters, the hopelessness loses its power, it is cut off, and you begin to understand that you are never alone and are a part of a new family.

Hopelessness that invades the Christian life, can consume the mind, making us think only of ourselves. We start to think it’s about my faith, my Bible study, my worship… The good news is, when understanding the covenant relationship, you don’t go before God in those endeavors, you allow Holy Spirit to transform you during them, bringing you hope. It becomes about Him rather than you.

Being spiritually minded.

Spiritual mindedness is about listening to Holy Spirit, being settled on your FULL acceptance by God, and walking peacefully in your call. In order to walk spiritually minded it is paramount to be honest with yourself and God. Ask yourself, “Am I trying to prove to myself and others that I have been called and chosen by God?”

When your inner being is settled with who you are, then your outer being will be created with good discernment. Peace comes between you and the presence of God, because you understand the covenant.

“But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”—Hebrews 5:14

Ephesians 3:19 reveals a mystery, “…to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” This mystery of the covenant is understood by those who live on the meat of the Word. You walk only when He tells you too; you are His servant.

You don’t have to ‘see’ the Father to have a complete covenant transformation. This is the miraculous mystery of how Holy Spirit works IN you. Ask for an invitation of revelation, and He will strengthen you.

“…that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man…”—Ephesians 3:16

Trusting Christ in you allows you to comprehend Covenant Partnership—to have knowledge that surpasses what you understand and what you see in your natural body, for your soul; that is your mind, will, and emotions, to be aligned with the Spirit. Your body was formed at birth and the inner man is being transformed through the covenant.

What changes people?

First, you must love and accept Yeshua, as Messiah. In loving Him, you keep His word… “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” (Joshua 1:8).

By stepping into Covenant Partnership and answering this powerful call, you understand the dominion and authority you have been given while knowing that it’s an encounter with the Holy Spirit that changes people. You are partnering with God to do His business.

While you wait upon the Lord, don’t grow weary. Better things are to come. Through faith and patience, inherit what is promised.

“For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”—Hebrews 6:10

Today we have been blessed and cursed with a society that is instant. God’s timing is far from ours. In His family, it takes patience and endurance. We must be diligent and praise Him for things to come. Accompanying salvation is transformation and peace that falls on you as you realize you are indeed in God’s family and that He is on your side.

Today, will you flee the house of fear, and come into the house of faith? Yeshua has ushered you in and He is your high priest. Choose Covenant Partnership and be a part of your Father’s family business.
