News Update: Here Is Who and How YOU Have Helped Serve in the Past 3 Months…
We all want to know that we are making a difference in this world. Did you know that your monthly donations as a Covenant Partner of Curt Landry Ministries not only assists those in need, but also brings the hope of Jesus and fulfills God’s will here on earth?
We can oftentimes set our focus on the darkness in the world, but the Lord says that we are set apart for Him, that we are to be salt and light—the light of the world that shines before all of mankind.
“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”—Matthew 5:13-16
We want you to see the fruit of your faithful Covenant Partnership. We marvel every month as we review what the Lord is doing at Curt Landry Ministries.
He is using YOU as His hands and feet as YOU are involved in His Kingdom purposes!
What’s New?
Because of the support from our CLM Covenant Partners, we are excited to report that have been able to begin a new endeavor and get involved in a special initiative that fights the epidemic of human trafficking!
WHO…
- Turning the Tables—an organization that fights against human trafficking.
HOW… The leadership of Curt Landry Ministries will be meeting with an organization called Turning the Tables in Israel in October to find out how we can say, “Yes!” to even more of their life-saving projects.
Lilach, the founder and director of Turning the Tables, says this about their mission…
“We established this program 7 years ago to help women exit prostitution and offer vocational training and economic guidance to more than 50 women a year. Women in prostitution usually come from a background of abuse and lack of support in their lives. Our aim is to give them an alternative for that lost hope—a sense of security, so they can be a viable part of society.”
So far, Curt Landry Ministries has committed to provide food boxes for the holidays as a special gift from our Covenant Partners and are looking into other supplies and support that we can give in the future.
It will be exciting to see how God can use these acts of kindness to open doors for those who are impacted by human trafficking, and how YOUR generosity as a CLM Covenant Partner can provide aid for those in need.
WHO…- A new Curt Landry Ministries sponsored Boys’ Home Just Opened in Tel Aviv!
HOW… Because of YOUR generosity as a CLM Covenant Partner, just a couple of months ago, the new Boys Safe House in Tel Aviv opened its doors. The boys are now getting settled in and doing well.
Here is a picture of the boys with the coordinator and guide…

WHO…
- Students at the Beit She’an School
Because of Beit She-an’s border location, the residents are oftentimes found in the midst of many tumultuous political conflicts that have taken a toll on the area’s economy. Therefore, we are blessed and honored to have the opportunity to provide for those living in Beit She’an, where many families struggle economically.
It is because of Curt Landry Ministries’ special relationship with former mayor, now current Knesset member, Jackie Levy, that the Lord has opened the door for this unique connection with the City of Beit She-an and her people!
In fact, here is a picture of Jackie Levy with his granddaughter in the early 2,000s at a birthday celebration we sponsored for him in Beit She’an.
Continuing Efforts and Projects…
Because of YOUR generous support of Curt Landry Ministries as a Covenant Partner, we are not only able to say, “Yes!” to new projects, but are also blessed to extend continual support of ongoing projects that we have committed to for years.
Here are updates on a few of our ongoing projects…WHO…
- Holocaust Survivors in Jerusalem
HOW… Curt Landry Ministries provides high-quality meals, just like we would serve in our own homes, to our Holocaust Survivors for the holidays.
Because a great number of the Survivors that we provide meals for have Russian origins, we actually provide special bakery items direct from Russia, adding a special touch that connects them to memories and their heritage.
We also want to give a special thanks to Sam, our Israeli staff member, who goes above and beyond to make sure our contributions are used to their fullest.
The Process… Have you ever wondered how this wonderful spread gets prepared and delivered to the Holocaust survivors?
[Here’s a picture of the quality of food/ingredients used in the preparation of the Holocaust Survivor meals]
Curt Landry Ministries purchases the ingredients and has partnered with a local Israeli restaurant, Cooking in the Market. They prepare all the food for the Holocaust Survivors, down to the detail of condiments. We also pay for the time it takes the restaurant, which is owned by a Persian Jewish family who specializes in home cooking, to prepare the meals. (The best part is… we get to bless this family as well!)
A group of 15 and 16-year-old schoolchildren, led by Sam’s daughter, delivers the warm, fresh, health certified meals to the Survivors. During holidays, even younger children join the delivery team!
The Survivors greatly enjoy sitting and visiting with the young people as they eat their hot meals.
We currently deliver more than 450 meals a month, providing everything—even the paper goods—so that those who receive them have no preparation and cleanup is easy.

WHO…
- Lone Soldiers’ Families and the Jerusalem City Hall Project
HOW… We continue to deliver boxes of food to Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers’ families in need. This is a continued effort, but we have two special stories we want to share with you that exemplify how your generous monthly Covenant Partner donation has changed lives and families.
Sam, our Israeli staff member, meets families where they are. He goes to their homes and offers physical, emotional, and spiritual hope.
Sarah…
Recently Sam visited the mother of a lone solder. He walked up to the home and could tell from the outside it was nearly unlivable. The conditions were horrific. He could only imagine the story of the individuals who lived there.
He came to find out the mother’s ex-husband was recently placed in police custody (for unknown reasons). Her oldest child, and daughter, is in the IDF. They had recently moved to the house where Sam was now standing in the doorway of.
Due to lack of funds and evictions, the family moved frequently. As the mother (we’ll call her ‘Sarah’ to honor her privacy) shared her heartbreaking story, Sam asked, “Why don’t you ask for help from the authorities?” Her response, “I’m fearful of losing my children.”
This woman had been through so much and seemed to barely be hanging on. She had gotten to a point where caring for her home seemed overwhelming. But God calls us to give—give of our time, money, resources. Whatever it may be, God wants to use what He has given you to further His Kingdom!
“He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will pay back what he has given.”—Proverbs 19:17
“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”—Galatians 6:2
Curt Landry Ministries saw a need and we met it. In the process, we get to know the families. For this woman, Sam and a group of his local friends came to her home and helped her organize all of her belongings! What did she need? We came with a box of food, but she needed help organizing and cleaning her living space, so these are the steps we took.
Janet…
Another experience delivering food looked to be quite the opposite. As Sam approached the home, he noticed how pristine and clean it was. This family didn’t look to be in need; it must be the wrong address. However, upon entering and talking with the family, a different story began to unfold.
Sam found out the son, an IDF soldier, had a brain tumor. The mother (we’ll call her ‘Janet’ to honor her privacy) quit her job to take care of her son, and she and her 5 family members are now living on government funding.
The food box we were able to provide for them that month made a huge difference in their lives! Those who receive the boxes are always amazed at the quality of food we are able to offer.
These two families were incredibly grateful, and we were incredibly humbled as we heard their stories of bravery, courage, and perseverance.
The boxes contain about 25 items valued at around $140 USD. We deliver 40 boxes a month. We purchase the groceries from a store owned by Rami Levy. Sam knows Rami personally, and he gave us a discount when he heard where the food was going.
Therefore, we can be good stewards of what God has given us through the generosity of YOU—a Curt Landry Ministries Covenant Partner. We spend less and give more.

WHO…
- IDF Lone Soldiers
One of the amazing opportunities we’ve been able to give is a sense of belonging and family to these Lone Soldiers. Anywhere from 20 to 60 soldiers attend the weekly Shabbat dinner. Before we were able to provide meals, they used to meet at a local hotel.
Now, because of your generosity, they can cook and prepare the meals together and create a sense of family!
It’s Curt Landry Ministries’ heart and mission to be a place where the Body of Christ is strengthened and fulfills the will of God here on earth. We want to unite as Jew and Gentile and walk in covenant relationship, restoring the hope of God’s chosen nation—connecting to the roots of our spiritual heritage.
Will you join us?
