God Opens Doors for You. Go Through the Gates.
As you prepare to enter the new Hebrew year 5784, you will see how God opens doors for you in the spirit—doors of opportunity.
We must move, go through the gates, and receive what God has for us in this new season. How? By aligning our words, time, and resources with Him.
What God Has for You on the Other Side of the Open Door
God has above what you could think, ask, or imagine waiting for you (Ephesians 3:20)! Ask Him to reveal your true need. That need is fulfilled on the other side of the opened door. Fear and doubt are the problems we face that stop us from going through the gates. But these are only opportunities to open doors in the spirit. He has opportunities for you to overcome and move into higher levels of faith and power.
When you discover you need and depend on Him to carry out the dreams and visions He has given you, you can go through the gates knowing His plans are secure. You will find you need…
- Prophetic wisdom
- To know God’s intuition
These are things that overcome fear and doubt, helping you see the opened doors before you.
Head Through the Gates at the Head of the Year
Deuteronomy 28:13 says, “And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God…”
In the new year, you can head through the gates headfirst because you are the head, not the tail. This is how God designed you to meet new opportunities He sets before you—head-on.
Rosh Hashanah 5784
- Rosh is the Hebrew word for “head.”
- Ha is the definite article “the”
- Shana means “year,” referring to the Jewish day of the New Year
Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets, is a moed, a divine appointment, to awaken to open door opportunities for your New Year of new beginnings!
The Prophetic Significance of the Numbers
God does all things with intention and purpose. This year is 5784, and the numbers are significant and have meaning and purpose.
5784: 5+7+8+4=24÷4=6
The number 24 is associated with the priesthood. Since it is composed of a multiple of 12, it takes on some of 12’s meaning. The number 12 represents God’s power, authority, and perfect foundation. The number 24 is also connected with the deep true worship of God.
5=Grace. 7=Perfections. 8=New Beginnings. 4=the Door.
- 24÷4=6.
- 6 is “vav,” the number of man
- 80 is “pey,” which means mouth
May this be a year of His grace and perfection in Messiah for new beginnings to speak to and walk through new doors of opportunities!
Know, See, and Feel the Doors God Is Opening for You
KNOW: Know that doors of new opportunities are divinely opening for you in 5784.
- “Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains, that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.”—Colossians 4:2-4
SEE: See the importance of the words you speak (mouth). The mouth and the words you speak are doors. They need to shut when it comes to negative words and open when it comes to speaking, declaring, proclaiming, and decreeing prayer!
- “Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion! Declare His deeds among the people.”—Psalm 9:11
FEEL: Feel justice, peace, and hope for the future through the knowledge of having a clean heart that speaks healthy words.
- “The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of justice.”—Psalm 37:30
Your Gift Makes a Way
How do we come into agreement with God for the doors He is opening? How do we activate our faith in what He will do in the coming year, faith that He will do more than we could think, ask, or imagine?
When the words you speak, the things you spend the most time doing, and where you spend your money are aligned with the Lord, a breakthrough is on the horizon. The door won’t just open for you, it will be knocked off the hinges, and you will walk through it with great power and authority.
As mentioned, this is a year for open doors and speaking God’s Word. When the seed of our mouths and our finances are sown into good soil, we will prosper in what God has called us to do.
So then, let us A.C.T.
- Apply Matthew 4:4 and live by the Word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
- Change according to Luke 6:45 and treasure in our hearts the treasure of God so we speak according to His ways.
- Be transformed according to James 1:19 and be swift to hear and slow to speak, paying attention to what we say and our heart behind it.
Are you ready to go through the gates? Then move into the year aligned!
