Are you waiting for a manifestation of God’s power? The good news is the Bible reveals principles that unlock the doors to the manifestation of God’s power in every Believer’s life.
The problem for many Believers who long to see a manifestation of God’s power is this: the biblical principles, which are known in the spirit, are not understood by the mind. God is taking us deeper into this understanding in the year ahead.
So then, let’s ask…
- “Father, what is it you are saying to us about the manifestation of God’s power?”
- “Lord, how do you want us to apply Your power to our lives?”
- “God, how do You want us to experience Your power in a way that blesses others and leads to restoration?”
The Manifestation of God’s Power is Done Through Covenant
Covenant is at the center of the manifestation of God’s power. As a Believer, you are in a covenant relationship with God. His Spirit, His power is within you. Ephesians 2:11-13 says this…
“Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands—that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.”
The covenant of promise was not yours until you decided to follow the Lord—accepting Yeshua and being born-again by His Spirit. Now, because of your decision, you are grafted into the covenant, the family of God. Ephesians 2:14-15 further describes the covenant this way, “For He (Jesus) Himself is our peace, who made both (Jew and Gentile) one… so as to create in Himself one new man from the two…”
The covenant is about Jew and Gentile coming together as One New Man in Christ. This is where the manifestation of God’s power is released!
Therefore, as a Believer who has His power within you, this is the year to see the manifestation of God’s power in your life and in the lives of others.
The Starting Point for the Release of the Manifestation of God’s Power | Matthew 6:33
The key principle to releasing God’s power starts with understanding Matthew 6:33.
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
—Matthew 6:33
This verse is not about your righteousness, it is about His. It is about allowing His righteousness to cover your heart. This is why you put on the breastplate of righteousness, to cover your heart so that you speak and act after the covenant, not after your Adamic nature.
KNOW THIS…
Seek His Kingdom and allow His righteousness to restructure your habits and patterns to shape your character in the year ahead, and expect a manifestation of God’s power in your life.

Next Stop for the Release of Manifestation of God’s Power | Deuteronomy 8:18
After seeking the Kingdom and His righteousness, you must remember where your resources come from. Again, this points to the covenant. God wants you to understand and establish His covenant within you, and use you to bless others. This ultimately grows His Kingdom.
However, He wants you to steward your resources His way.
“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”
—Deuteronomy 8:18
Remember that everything you have, 100% of it, is God’s. If it is His, and He is who He says He is, then He knows how to best manage it. So then, doing it His way only makes sense.
KNOW THIS…
When you understand that you are here for a Kingdom purpose, you will want to manage your resources according to Kingdom principles. How you sow and reap influences the size of your harvest.
Next Stop for the Release of Manifestation of God’s Power | Galatians 5:22-23
When you seek God’s Kingdom and His righteousness first and remember all you have is from Him, the next question is, “How do I operate in my day-to-day life with this understanding?”
This is about inviting Him to shape your character. As you go through this character-shaping process, you will get to know Him better and become a place where God releases His power. You will notice the fruit of the Spirit at work.
You are to be a sheep who follows the Shepherd. He uses Galatians 5:22-23 as His staff, keeping you from the wolves.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.”
—Galatians 5:22-23
You must recognize and cut off any “wolf” behavior—predatory behavior—that is out to prove, judge, and condemn from an impure place of the heart. When you know His voice and follow it, protection, peace, and provision will follow.
KNOW THIS…
Operating in the flesh or in “wolf” behavior gives the enemy a foothold in your life. He will bring accusations against you in the Courts of Heaven. But repentance and pleading the blood of Christ releases a gag order in the Courts and silences the enemy.
The Final Stop for the Release of Manifestation of God’s Power | Philippians 4:13
Do you believe that you can do all things through Christ (see Philippians 4:13)? The Bible says that in Yeshua, you can do all things and are more than conquerors. There is a lot in God’s Word about winning battles that lead to restoration:
- Restoration of the heart
- Restoration of the mind
- Restoration of health
- Restoration of finances and wealth
- Restoration of relationships
- Restoration of communities
- Restoration of land
Fortunately, God’s Word tells us how to battle for restoration and see the manifestation of His power in ways we never could ask or think.
This final stop for releasing the manifestation of God’s power builds on the revelation above and takes you deeper into understanding the spiritual realm.
When you operate in the “God’s Kingdom first” principle, you will believe God’s Word that says no evil powers can separate you from His love (see Romans 8:37-39). He is your hope and glory. In this understanding, your heart will be softened to receive His instruction that leads to restoration and Kingdom prosperity.
Malachi 3 and 4 also give further instruction about how to operate for God’s Kingdom. These chapters tell us that if you bring tithes and offerings to the storehouse, there will be food in His house, and He will open the windows of Heaven and pour out blessings!
Isn’t this an amazing promise of restoration?!
Furthermore, Malachi 4 tells us that restoration will happen for the family, “And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers…” (Malachi 4:6). Can we all agree that the family mountain needs to be restored?
And lastly, how is the manifestation of God’s power released when we come together as the Body of Christ?
Isaiah 56:7 says, ”Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
When the Body comes together to worship and pray, the Lord releases joy! There is a manifestation of God’s power in the joy. Miracles, signs, and wonders follow when there is covenant restoration—unity as the One New Man!
KNOW THIS…
The power of Christ in you creates an abiding place for the Lord’s presence. Your strength to overcome opposition, fear and doubt comes from Him. The power of restoration comes from Him. He gives you instruction to partner with Him and to steward well the resources He gives you.
And you have a choice: Will you use His Kingdom principles and prosper, or will you go your own way and struggle?
His plan is to see you prosper… Choose His plan (see Jeremiah 29:11 and Joshua 1:8).
Moving Forward in Expectation
Let us dig further into the Word and yield to Holy Spirit in 5782. He will tell us how to expect a manifestation of God’s power that will be released upon the family of God, within individual families, and in each Believer as we continue to seek His Kingdom and righteousness first.
May He work through us to create a house of prayer for all nations!
May He work through us to bless the nation of Israel!
May He work through us to bless those He places in our paths!
