Sukkot! Children’s Candy Sukkah

Help your children better understand God’s appointed time of Sukkot. The Children’s Candy Sukkah gives them an opportunity to use their creativity as an open door to have a deeper encounter with the indwelling and empowerment of the Holy Spirit. 

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”—Proverbs 22:6

List of Supplies:

  • 4 graham cracker squares
  • 6 rod pretzels
  • 1 ziploc snack bag with frosting in corner, snipped, to use a piping bag
  • 8 Trix cereal balls in assorted colors (with each color represented at least once)*
  • 4 Jelly Belly fruit slices*
  • 4 Jelly Belly raspberry/blackberries*4 Mike and Ike yellow candies*
  • *Sub in whatever candy you prefer

Step by Step instructions:

MAKE A CANDY SUKKAH…

  1. Spread frosting onto a paper plate. Then frost the bottom edges of 2 graham cracker rectangles and place them parallel onto the frosted paper plate.
  2. Frost the top and side edges of the graham crackers.
  3. Put a graham on the top as the “roof.” Place another on the back to close one side of the sukkah.
  4. Decorate the sukkah with candy pumpkins, M&Ms, and candy corns.
