Activate the King-Priest Anointing in Your Life in 5785
Fall Feast 5785 / 2024 Resources:
As we prepare to enter the Hebrew year 5785, the Lord is calling us into a season of grace, perfection, and new beginnings—a year where the King-Priest Anointing will be activated in those ready to step into their divine calling.
The number 5785 carries a powerful prophetic significance:
- 5 signifies grace, and in this coming year, we will experience a double portion—a double grace to fulfill the purposes God has placed on our lives.
- 7 represents perfection, a divine completion of what the Lord has begun in us.
- 8 symbolizes new beginnings, ushering in a fresh move of God in our lives, ministries, and communities.
- 5 again, emphasizing the grace to finish well and complete what has been started with excellence and divine favor.
The Goliath Year of 5784
The Hebrew year 5784 was somewhat of a Goliath year—challenging and stretching us. But it is through these trials that God is revealing the Davids, those who are anointed and equipped to lead in this new season. I think it is important to note that we serve a God who leads us through the valleys and not always “around” hard places.
Our God walks us through to the other side and we learn to become overcomers who are ready for the new thing God is doing. Just as David was both a king and a worshiper, we are being called to operate in the King-Priest Anointing, walking in both spiritual authority and leadership. Much of this is birthed in Goliath moments.
The Birthing of the One New Man Reformation
The Hebrew year 5785 is not just another year but a birthing moment for the One New Man/Humanity reformation movement. In the most basic terms, reformation represents a season of change in which we are re-formed, re-shaped, or re-positioned. This means you can expect to continue to walk out a season of transition in the year ahead as we are witnessing the unfolding of God’s plan.
The King-Priest Anointing
King David is a prime example of the King-Priest Anointing and demonstrates what it looks like to embrace a change in identity. After slaying Goliath, he not only became a king but also continued to operate as a priest—a worshiper who led the nation in the ways of the Lord. This anointing allows us to function in the spiritual realm as both priests and in leadership roles in government, business, and ministry.
We also see this dual anointing in the partnership between Zerubbabel, the governor of Judah, and Zechariah, the prophet, as described in Zechariah 4. This King-Priest Anointing is about unity, where two people serve together, each fulfilling their God-given roles with divine authority and grace.
So, what does this mean for you in 5785? I believe leaders will see an increase in anointing and grace to serve in their God-given roles wherever He has positioned them in their work, family, or in the spirit.
