See God’s Redemption as He Opens Heaven’s Windows in Nisan
The Hebrew month of Nisan is about new beginnings, redemption, and aligning with God’s times and seasons. As the first month on the biblical calendar, it’s a time to reflect on God’s faithfulness, deliverance, and promises.
In Nisan, the Israelites were freed from Egypt, stepping into the destiny God had planned for them. But Nisan isn’t just about looking back—it’s about stepping forward. It’s a season to take action, sow in faith, and trust that God is moving in our lives even when we can’t see it yet.
A Month of Redemption and Renewal
Nisan is profoundly significant as the month of Passover, when God delivered His people with a mighty hand. Just as the Israelites walked out of slavery into freedom, we, too, are invited to step into God’s provision, promises, and purposes. It is a time to leave the bondage of fear, doubt, and past failures and walk forward in faith.
Biblically, sowing is both a physical and spiritual act. Farmers prepare their fields in the spring, trusting that their seeds will bring a future harvest. Spiritually, Nisan is the season to sow in faith—our prayers, our commitments, and even our resources—believing that God will bring the increase in due season as He opens Heaven’s windows above us.
The Prophetic Act of Sowing in Faith
Sowing in faith means trusting that what we release into God’s hands will multiply. It means giving even when we don’t see immediate results, standing firm on the promise that God is faithful to bless what is offered to Him.
Consider the Israelites in Egypt. Before their deliverance, they were instructed to apply the blood of the lamb to their doorposts—a prophetic act of faith. They had yet to see freedom, but their obedience prepared the way for their redemption.
Likewise, in this season, we are called to sow in faith, trusting that our obedience will lead to breakthrough.

Aligning with the Season
Nisan is the time to:
- Break free from the past. Just as the Israelites left Egypt, we must leave behind the burdens that hinder our faith.
- Plant seeds in faith. Whether stepping into a new assignment, giving sacrificially, or deepening our prayer life, this is the season to sow with expectation.
- Celebrate God’s deliverance. Passover reminds us that God is our Deliverer. Reflect on His past faithfulness and trust Him for future provision.
- Declare the promises of God. Speak life over the seeds you plant. Declare God’s Word over your family, business, and ministry, knowing He is faithful to bring the increase.
Passover—one of the three pilgrim feasts—is a time to meet the Father at His table and bring an offering, aligning your resources and generosity with God’s times and seasons.
Reaping the Harvest
The seeds sown in Nisan will yield a harvest in God’s perfect timing. This month, let us step forward in faith, sow generously, and trust that the God who led the Israelites out of Egypt will also unlock our Kingdom destinies.
As we align with His timing and sow in obedience, we position ourselves for a season of abundance, breakthrough, and divine favor.
Now is the time. Sow in faith and watch as God brings forth a harvest as He opens the windows of Heaven!
