5775/2015— A Year of Breakthrough!
2014 has been a powerful year for Curt Landry Ministries. It is amazing and humbling to look back and think of all that has been accomplished in the last 12 months.
Through our donor’s generous support we have been blessed to provide:
- Safe Houses in Israel for Children in need
- Aid to an Elderly Home for Holocaust Survivors in Israel
- Support for Impoverished Israeli Soldiers and their Families
- Support for Native American outreaches
- Support for the needy in Nicaragua
- Support for Projects in Togo, Africa
- Building House of David’s new sanctuary
- And much more…

The Shmita year—a sabbatical year that occurs every seven years for the land of Israel—began on September 25, 2014. 5775 in the Jewish calendar marks a year of grace and favor between God and man, and is the last year before the Jubilee year of 5776.
I do not believe that in our lifetimes we have ever witnessed such an alignment of signs that encourage us to trust in God and His ways.
Here are just a few examples of the phenomenon we will experience between now and the end of 5776:
- Four blood moons within a two year cycle
- A Shmita year before a Jubilee year
- The 70th Jubilee year since Joshua led the children of Israel into the Promised Land
“So he answered and said to me: ‘This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” Says the Lord of hosts. “Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!’”’”—Zechariah 4:6-7
We are all fighting circumstantial mountains with challenges. These mountains need to move out of our way so that we can move forward with what God has for us! In years past, we have moved these mountains of problems with money and our own might.
But in this Shmita, sabbatical year, I feel very strongly that we are to follow the word of the Lord given to Zerubbabel with shouts of ‘grace to the capstone!’
